President Bola Tinubu on Monday, June 16, commissioned the Federal Capital Territory Water Supply Network loops 1,2,5, and 6 of Abuja.
The president commissioned the project which was carried out by the FCT administration alongside key political bigwigs in the FCT.
Some of the individuals who attended the commissioning of the water project with the president include the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje and the Minister of State FCT, Mariya Mahmoud.
The project is located on the Abuja Airport Road, along the China Chambers of Commerce building.
This particular commissioning comes days after the president had inaugurated several other initiatives within the FCT.
One of these projects includes the rehabilitation of the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
The rehabilitation project was also carried out by the FCTA under the leadership of Nyesom Wike, the minister of the FCT.
The process which cost N39 billion caused outrage among some leaders of the country, including Peter Obi who believes the money could have been invested into key sectors like education or health.
