The Federal Government on Monday, June 16, announced the launch of an official website for the upcoming National Youth Conference.
The Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande said the launch of the website is key to the President Bola Tinubu-led administration’s commitment to youth engagement and empowerment.
Olawande said the new website, nationalyouthconfab.gov.ng, will serve as the central hub for information, registration, updates, and participation in the conference.
The conference is scheduled to take place at a later date this year.
According to the Minister, the website has been designed as a platform that would help young Nigerians and those in the diaspora to connect and contribute meaningfully to the affairs of the nation.
In a statement issued on Monday, Olawande the website has been developed with accessibility and interactivity in mind.
He said, “At the launch ceremony, I noted that the National Youth Conference will be executed through a multi-level participatory process which includes virtual engagements with the diaspora, constituency-level consultations, zonal consolidation meetings, and a culminating national conference in Abuja.
“I also emphasized that the implementation of the conference will be anchored on the principles of transparency, respect, inclusivity, and innovation, urging every young Nigerian to seize this opportunity to transition.
“I want to use this medium to appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment and dedication to youth development in the country,” Olawande said.
