The Executive Chairman of Andoni Local Government Council, Hon. Promise Lucky Otuo, has unveiled a groundbreaking welfare initiative by declaring free feeding for all council workers on Monday 29th September 2025. The move, described as the first of its kind in the history of the council, is aimed at boosting staff morale and driving greater productivity in the local government system.
The announcement was made during a meeting with workers at the Ngo headquarters, where the chairman emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in achieving progress in Andoni. He stressed that productivity must be matched with accountability, reinforcing his administration’s commitment to rewarding hard work while discouraging idleness.
As part of his broader leadership vision, Hon. Otuo also disclosed plans for stable electricity in the entire Ngo kingdom, beginning next week. He also hinted that other communities are expected to benefit from improved power supply ahead of the December festive season, signaling his administration’s resolve to deliver development evenly across the local government.
In addition to the welfare and power initiatives, work has already commenced in different parts of Andoni in fulfillment of his campaign promises.
