An alleged Nigerian soldier has declared readiness of the country’s military to face the United States army after President Donald Trump’s threat of military invasion over Christian genocide claims.
In a viral video, the military officer, who identified himself as Soldier Boy, praises the Nigerian armed forces, saying they have fought abroad on invitation and should not be underestimated.
“Do you think the Nigerian Army is small? We go to other countries to fight when invited – the Nigerian Army is not to be underestimated,” he said.
He mocked the US Army, saying, “US Army? Please. They can’t even survive our weather. US Army, my foot.”
He went on to claim he had spoken with Donald Trump, adding: “Trump is my guy. He said it was all a mistake. So don’t ask if we’re ready – I’m ready. The Nigerian Army is always ready.”
“Nigerians are belittling Nigerian army thinking we’re incapable. We fight international wārs. US army my foot. US army can’t even survive Nigeria weather. We are ready for US army.”
