The 2023 Lagos State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olajide Adediran has urged the service chiefs to deliver on their duties or be removed by President Bola Tinubu.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Adediran popularly known as Jandor said Tinubu is not Buhari who can easily end the tenure of service chiefs.
Jandor also stated that, unlike Buhari, Tinubu would not hesitate to sack any service chief for incompetence.
His words, “See, the issue of insecurity, it has always been there, unfortunately. But there’s something that I want to say here. I want to believe that these are not internal crises. Some people are waging war against us.
“What I am going to say bout this Benue and other insecurities that are happening now, and to tell the service chiefs that the man who is the president of Nigeria currently, is not Buhari ooo,” Jandor said.
The former governorship candidate said it is only Buhari who can allow a service chief to spend years in office without performing.
He added, “This one is in the office and he is aware that he is in the office, it’s only Buhari that can keep service chief in service for eight years and not remove them.”
