A four-term member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun, popularly known as “Were,” has emerged as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Saki West/Saki East/ATISBO Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Abisodun clinched the party’s ticket following the APC primary election held across the 32 wards in the constituency on Saturday.
Party sources said the exercise was conducted peacefully, with delegates and officials participating without any reported security breach.
The primary election was said to have been concluded in an orderly manner across all wards that make up the federal constituency.
Supporters of Abisodun celebrated his emergence, describing it as a reflection of his political strength and strong grassroots support across the constituency.
As of the time of filing this report, party officials are yet to issue an official statement on the conduct and outcome of the primary.
