Siminialayi Fubara hails from Opobo Town in Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area of Rivers State. He began his educational journey at Opobo Primary School and later attended Comprehensive Secondary School, Opobo. His pursuit of knowledge led him to the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, where he obtained a degree in Accountancy.
In 2013 and 2016, he furthered his academic achievements by earning an MBA and an MSc from the University of Port Harcourt, respectively.
Career and Politics
Siminialayi Fubara embarked on his professional journey in 2003 when he assumed the role of a principal accountant at the Rivers State Senior Secondary Schools Board. Through his dedication and expertise, he steadily advanced within the ranks, eventually reaching the esteemed position of director of finance and accounts at the State\’s government house in 2015. In March 2020, he further ascended to the position of permanent secretary.
